JAMES CALLERI
James has worked as a casting director for over 25 years, casting for Broadway, Off-Broadway, Film and Television. He founded and co-owns the award-winning Calleri Casting, a New York-based casting office with partners Paul Davis and Erica Jensen. The winner of 15 Artios awards with an additional 30 nominations, James was also the treasurer and an officer of Casting Society of America (CSA).
James teaches at Columbia University as the Head of Acting for the MFA program. He is the co-author of Acting Professionally: Raw Facts for the Actor published by Macmillan. He has taught multiple acting programs, including NYU Grad, Syracuse, NCSA, and the Shanghai Theater Academy.
